Settings – Priority URLs

Overview

The options in the Priority URLs panel let you manage the ordering and priority fields for URLs included in the llms.txt file. By customizing the sort order and assigning priority values, you help AI crawlers focus on your most important pages, products, and attachments—ensuring logical navigation and relevance within your site’s structure.

Available Options

Priority URLs ordering

  • Description: Choose how URLs are sorted in the output: by relevance (recommended: pages → posts → products → attachments) or by date (newest/oldest first). This guides AI crawlers to process your content in the most meaningful order.

Include priority field (0.1–1.0)

  • Description: Adds a “priority” attribute to each item, similar to XML sitemaps. This value helps AI systems understand which pages are most important.

Default priority value

  • Description: Set the default priority value used for all items when enabled (between 0.1 and 1.0).
