Overview
The options in the Automatic updates panel allow you to configure scheduled regeneration of the llms.txt file. This ensures that the metadata and directives provided to AI crawlers and LLM systems are always up-to-date, reflecting your latest content and settings without manual intervention.
Available Options
Update frequency
- Description: Choose how often the llms.txt file should be automatically regenerated. Options typically include: Disabled, Immediate (on publish), Daily, or Weekly.
This helps keep your site’s AI metadata current and accurate.
Daily update time
- Description: Set the exact time (in UTC) when the daily regeneration should occur.
Allows you to schedule updates at off-peak hours to minimize server load and ensure timely refreshes.
Weekly update day & time
- Description: Select the day of the week (e.g., Thursday) and the exact time (UTC) for the scheduled update. The plugin will automatically refresh the llms.txt file at your chosen interval, ensuring AI crawlers get current data.
