Overview
The options in the AI Metadata Fields panel allow you to add advanced metadata to the llms.txt file, helping AI systems and crawlers accurately interpret, classify, and comply with content usage rights.
Available Options
Include schema_type (Schema.org)
- Description: Enable automatic detection of content type (Article, Product, etc.) according to the Schema.org standard. This helps AI crawlers understand the structure and nature of the site’s content.
AI Usage License (Default)
- Description: Allows you to specify the license under which AIs can use your content (e.g., CC BY 4.0, attribution only, or restrictions). The selected license is added as metadata to all items in the llms.txt file.
Attachment/Media License
- Description: Allows you to set a specific license for attachments and images (e.g., “All Rights Reserved – No AI use”). This license applies only to media files, always distinct from the general content license.
Include canonical URL
- Description: Adds a “canonical” field with the authoritative URL for each element (compatible with SEO plugins such as Yoast or RankMath). Useful for avoiding duplicates and indicating the main version of each piece of content to AI crawlers.
- Description: Enable automatic detection and addition of related URLs (parent/child pages, related posts, related products, etc.). Help AI systems navigate and understand the internal relationships between site content.
