Step 1: Go to the User Meta tab

  • In your WordPress dashboard, go to DB Cleaner in the left menu.
  • Select the User Meta tab.

Step 2: Enable Auto Clean in the User Meta tab

  • At the top right of the User Meta table, locate the Auto Clean frequency dropdown.
  • Click the dropdown and select your desired frequency (DailyWeekly, etc.).
  • The status next to the User Meta menu will change to show AUTO when enabled.

Step 3: Confirm Auto Clean is Active

  • When Auto Clean is active, you’ll see a green AUTO badge next to “User Meta” in the sidebar.
  • Database Cleaner will now automatically clean up user meta data at your chosen interval.
  • You can always adjust or disable Auto Clean at any time using the same dropdown.

Important tips

  • Double-check your selection: Only user meta considered “Unused” or “Orphaned” will be processed automatically.
  • Make a database backup before activating automatic cleanup, just in case.
