Frequently Asked Questions
Have a specific question? Submit a support ticket and we will get back to you.
Can I choose the default status of the duplicated post?
Yes. In the plugin settings, you can choose whether the cloned copy should be saved as a Draft, Published, Pending Review, or Private. By default, it is saved as a draft so you can safely edit it before publishing.
Can I automatically add a prefix or suffix to the cloned title?
Absolutely. The plugin includes options to automatically add a Title Prefix (e.g., “Copy of…”) or a Title Suffix (e.g., “… – DUPLICATE”) to the new title, making it easy to distinguish from the original.
Does this plugin support WordPress Navigation Menus?
Yes! Starting from version 1.1.0, you can duplicate entire navigation menus with a single click. This is incredibly useful when restructuring your site or creating secondary menus.
Can I restrict the duplication feature to specific user roles?
Yes. Within the plugin settings, you can control the permission levels and choose exactly which user roles (e.g., Administrators and Editors only) are allowed to see the clone button and duplicate content.
Can I choose which specific post elements are copied?
Yes. You have full control over the metadata. You can select exactly which elements to inherit from the original post—such as the content, featured image, categories, tags, or custom fields—leaving out what you don’t need.
